Work in progress: tracing the paths!

Since the beginning of this week began the vital operations of tracing the paths that will be part of the official route of the 4 races. It is a challenging job from all points of view, which requires much time, organization and numerous means; Hundreds of kilometers to cover strictly on foot, meter by meter, by applying a precise distance (or in a manner to allow the best possible view) the “balises”, the red flags that indicate the right direction to follow the athletes in the race .

These tracts at higher risk of error, or with a visibility of flag later reduced, has been joined using white-red tape signaling. Also in the whole stretch of the night GTMS red flags come with a special reflector strip which, illuminated by torchlight front, will allow a more rapid detection of the path to follow.

All junctions will also be marked with special arrows affixed to wooden tables bearing the exact direction to be taken depending on the race in which you are participating.
